Brooklyn based experimental pop duo Sleigh Bells and Reykjavik's own electronic catalysts GusGus have been confirmed for the fifth edition of Sónar Reykjavík, taking place throughout four stages at Harpa February 16, 17 and 18. GusGus will be making a return to the festival following their memorable opening show of Sónar Reykjavík 2014, this time debuting new material from their forthcoming album. Sleigh Bells just released their fourth long player, Jessica Rabbit, and will be playing their debut performance in Iceland.
As announced last month Fatboy Slim, Moderat, De La Soul, Ben Klock, FM Belfast, Samaris, Helena Hauff, Tommy Genesis, Sin Fang and Forests Swords are among the string of artists already confirmed for Sónar Reykjavík 2017.
The festival program takes takes place throughout four indoor-stages; SonarClub, SonarHall, the seated SonarComplex and Harpa's undeground car-park taking the form of SonarLab night-club.
